    Shipping
Shipping rates will vary. Please check airlines for rules regarding the shipment of animals. Buyer is
responsible for transportation, meeting the requirements of the transport company and all charges
related to the shipping process (ie. Health certificate, crate, flight or delivery accommodations &
any other expenses that may be incurred.) We prefer to use Continental Airlines  as they have
controlled temperatures suitable for live animals but will ship with whatever airline is safest for the
pup at the time. Airlines will not allow puppies to be shipped if they are under 8 weeks of age and all
dogs over 16 weeks must have a rabies certificate. All puppies will fly out of LAX or Ontario Intl.
depending on which airport can provide the most direct flight. The health of the puppy is our top
    priority.

    Domestic
  • All puppies will require a minimum of 1st shots including DHLPP-C, Bordetella and Rabies (if over
16 weeks). Hawaii requires 120 day quarantine from the date the rabies vaccine has been given.
Please check with airlines for any quarantine requirements for your state as boarding fees will
apply. Buyer is responsible for overnight kenneling fees at the airport should it be neccessary.
  • The airline requires all dogs to be contained in an air travel approved crate large enough for the
animal to turn around and sit upright without touching the sides or top. They must be lined with
absorbent pads and have 2 attached dishes. Crates vary in price between $50-$200 depending on
height and weight of the dog. (Ex. A pup that is 6 months of age may weigh approximately 50# and
will require a crate suitable for a 75# dog that will cost around $120 for the crate linings and bowls.
The cost to ship 8 week old puppies will be significantly less.)
  • The puppy must be examined within 10 days prior to shipping and a health certificate must be
provided upon arrival to the airport. Veterinarians charge around $45 for the exam and certificate.
  • The total cost of shipping an 8 week old puppy is on average $350 whereas a 6 month old, 50# puppy
domestically is on average $500.00 (this is an estimated amount & will be more or less depending on
size, weight, age and destination and includes all vaccines, health certificate, crate & accessories,
one way flight and surcharge. This estimate does not include boarding fees if applicable or purchase
price). We do try to keep the cost as low as possible without jeopardizing the wellfare of the puppy.
  • All surcharges & veterinarian fees are due at the time of purchase. Flight charges are due within 10
days of planned shipment. Puppies will not be shipped until all fees are paid in full. There is no
surcharge for shipping within the Continental United States.

    International
We prefer to keep our dogs in the Continental United States. However in very rare instances we
may ship overseas. Contact us for international purchasing requirements.
Our international shipping policy is as follows:

expenses while preparing your puppy to ship. This include trips to the veterinarian, USDA and
airport for final shipment. All puppies will require a minimum of 1st shots including DHLPP-C,

    Boarding & Fees***
During long transfer times or quarantine we will board a puppy until it's shipping date at the rate of
$5.00 per day per pup (under 6 months old) or $10.00 per day per adult dog (6 months or older).
Buyer is responsible for all costs related to vaccinations, wormings & other fees incurred through
veterinary care, etc. after date of purchase. We require all pups 16 weeks & over to have had a
minimum of 3 puppy shots in their series (DHLPP-C), Bordetella (Kennel Cough), & Rabies if over
16 weeks. Adult dogs must have yearly boosters for DHLPP-C,  Bordetella & Rabies**. In case of
an emergency we will provide veterinary care at a facility of our choice. A puppy or dog that has not
been picked up or shipped by the scheduled date due to buyer default will have a 10 day grace period
at the regular boarding rate. Should said dog be left at our facility longer than 10 days without
contact or new arrangements from buyer then the dog will be considered abandoned, become the
property of CWF & we will reserve the right to keep, place or re-sell that dog. Puppies & dogs will
not be released or shipped to buyer until all fees have been paid in full. We will do everything
possible to keep an open line of communication with all of our clients.
