| Each Irish Lace rose is carefully crocheted using size 80 -100 cotton thread and a 0.5mm hook. Petals, leaves and stem are made separately and later attached creating the beautiful rose you see above. The petals are then lined with colored silk fabric or ribbon and the final piece wrapped in more of the same. Please specify fill color when ordering. The finished product may be framed in a shadow box which is lined with velvet and trim or you can choose to have it sent loose. It takes about 30 hours to create one rose! | Lace Sprigs Lace sprigs are small medallions that are usually no larger than 2" in size which we place in a small velvet lined frame. They are very beautiful and ideal as an accent on a bookshelf, bedroom or just about anywhere. Available sprigs will be posted here. |
