It's time to start thinking about the NALC CA show in October. We have some new
equipment and have been working with the dogs regularly. In other news, Soleil and Mo had
their PennHip tests done yesterday and we should have results in a couple of weeks. Jila,
TBone and Kanati will have their OFAs next Wednesday. We are very nervous parents!
The rest of this year will hopefully see some UKC shows and a few ribbons to go with them.
We look forward to seeing more of our Houla "family".

Our return from the CA was one of great pride. Soleil took a 1st (even if she was the only
dog in the class) but it was her first show and she got much needed experience. Kanati
received a 3rd and Mo cleaned up with a 1st place AND a best in show. We couldn't be more
proud of our little dogs. We express great thanks to Cindy for her hard work and hospitality,
Jo, Maryanne and Steve (to name a few) for all of the effort that it took to put on such a
rewarding event. We look forward to those UKC events and next years NALC show!

WOW!!! What a month! Mo & Kanati attended the UKC 2 part show in Claremont and
cleaned up with a total of 9 blue ribbons, a reserve and a 3rd. More UKC shows are
definitely in our future. Jila's pups were born on January 27. There were 6 boys and 1 girl.
They are very healthy & quite the adorable group of pups & just this evening we were
graced with 2 female goat kids. I guess there's something to be said about doing everything
at once!
Until next time have a great Month!

we've been just a bit busy! In the news...Pups are finally ready to find their new homes but
there's only 3 males left. Since this litter had a lot of white we wanted to make sure everyone
was BAER, CERF & health tested before seriously trying to place them. Mustafa & DOT
are staying here with us & we're very excited for our future with both of them. In other news
damaged during last year's winter. We wish everyone a happy April & Spring season! -CWF
It's been a rough couple of months but we're getting back on our feet a bit. We are currently
de-constructing, rebuilding & refurbishing. On top of all of this Mo somehow managed to
reach Soleil who had gone into heat 3 months early so it looks like we will have another litter
this year. We are cautious & excited all at the same time as we had not planned on breeding
preparing to venture into the world of Civil War re-enactments. (Like we needed another
hobby!) We wish everyone a fun & safe summer - CWF
